Big sound, compact footprint: the Yamaha SE-122

The Yamaha SE-122 is the compact model in Yamaha's SE series, built for discerning pianists who refuse to compromise on premium sound even with limited space. Featuring top-grade European materials and thoughtful design details, Yamaha sets new standards in the premium segment.

Compact design without compromising touch

At just 122 cm tall, the SE-122 is noticeably more compact than its bigger sibling, the SE-132, yet identical key length means you lose nothing in terms of touch and feel. Compared with other pianos of this height, the SE-122 stands out for its excellent playability.

Premium European materials for a warm, rich tone

Bass strings, hammers, and soundboard wood come from the same high-quality European sources used in the SE-132. These carefully selected materials give the SE-122 a warm, harmonically rich tone with impressive fullness, despite its compact cabinet.

Play silently with the optional Silent system

For anyone who wants to practise late at night or in a thin-walled apartment, the SE-122 is available with the optional Yamaha SH3 Silent system. A single pedal mutes the acoustic sound so you can play through headphones without disturbing anyone.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Compact without compromise: 122 cm height with the same key length as the SE-132.
• Premium sound: European bass strings, hammers, and soundboard for a full, rich tone.
• Silent practice possible: Optional Yamaha SH3 Silent system for headphone play.
• Thoughtful details: Double casters, lid lock, and a soft-close fallboard.
• Elegant finish: High-gloss Polished Ebony surface.
