Ovation Celebrity Elite: Innovation Meets Performance

The CE44-5-G is based on a massive spruce top, supported by a special scalloped quartersawn X-bracing. This construction gives the guitar a quick response and impressive dynamics. The mid-depth Lyrachord® body represents the ideal balance: it is deep enough to deliver a full, rich acoustic volume, but shallow enough to guarantee extremely comfortable handling when played standing.

The Secret of Multi Soundhole Design

Instead of a central soundhole, the Elite series uses multiple small openings at the edge of the top. This has two decisive advantages: first, the top remains stiffer in the center, which increases sustain, and second, feedback susceptibility at high stage volumes is drastically reduced. The beautiful multi hardwood epaulettes made from various premium woods also make the design unique.
