The Bow Hold Buddies bow grip aid from Things4Strings automatically guides the thumb and little finger into the correct bow hold: the thumb shaper directs the tip of the thumb to the point where the frog meets the stick, while the finger support brings the little finger into a rounded, relaxed position – all fingers remain at their usual contact points on the bow. The two-piece set made of medical-grade, latex-free silicone is adjustable from children to adults, fits all common violin and viola bow sizes and is dishwasher-safe. For practising entirely without a bow, the Buddies come already fitted to an included pencil.
