LAG T70D: French design meets big acoustic sound

The LAG Tramontane T70D NAT combines French guitar-building craft with a genuinely surprising choice of materials for its price bracket. Whether you are just starting out or you are an experienced strummer or singer-songwriter, this dreadnought delivers a powerful, warm tone with the projection the body shape is famous for — perfect for rhythm playing, band rehearsals and writing your first songs.

Solid Engelmann spruce meets warm mahogany

A solid Engelmann spruce top is a genuine rarity at this price point. Compared with the more common Sitka spruce, it produces a richer, more complex tone with excellent dynamics that keeps opening up over time. Paired with Khaya mahogany back and sides, the result is a powerful, warm sound with the dreadnought's characteristic punch.

Modern playability thanks to Brankowood and a satin finish

The fingerboard and bridge are made from Brown Brankowood, a sustainably engineered wood that matches tropical rosewood in hardness and density. The satin finish lets the top resonate more freely than a heavy gloss lacquer, while giving the neck a fast, comfortable feel.

Precise hardware for stable tuning

A black graphite nut reduces string friction and noticeably improves tuning stability. Combined with the dual-action truss rod and open-gear tuners in a nickel finish, the T70D can be set up precisely and stays in tune even as conditions change.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Rare build quality: Solid Engelmann spruce instead of the usual Sitka spruce.
• Warm dreadnought sound: Khaya mahogany adds power and projection.
• Excellent tuning stability: Graphite nut and dual-action truss rod reduce friction and warping.
• Sustainable design: Brankowood replaces tropical rosewood on the fingerboard and bridge.
• Ready to play: Fitted at the factory with coated phosphor bronze strings.
