The Contigo C-2030 SN is an absolute price-to-performance breakthrough and marks the entry point into the world of full-solid concert guitars. As a "Slim Neck" version with a 50 mm nut width, it offers an ergonomic advantage for players who find the classical 52 mm measurement too wide. Here you get an instrument that plays tonally in the upper class, but is available at a bargain price due to minimal cosmetic deviations.

Full-Solid Construction for Maximum Tonal Development

The crucial difference from semi-solid guitars lies in the resonance. A tonally selected massive Canadian cedar top vibrates in combination with back and sides made of massive South American mahogany. The result is the typically warm, voluminous cedar tone, which receives dry precision and liveliness from the massive mahogany. Fine wood bindings and Derjung signature tuners round out the picture.

This instrument is offered as B-stock because it has minimal cosmetic defects. These are purely cosmetic and have absolutely no impact on the sound, stability, or playability of the guitar. In the transition from the headstock to the neck, a small dent/notch in the wood is visible. On the back of the headstock, near the tuning machines, there is a small dark lacquer impurity or inclusion in the satin finish.
