The LARICA metal rosin is made according to the original recipe of the LIEBENZELLER metal rosin. Production is still carried out carefully and laboriously by hand. The rhythmic treatment of the rosin, which is made from pure larch resin, with the addition of various metals, means that the sound produced is livelier, warmer and brighter than with untreated rosin.
Increased sound volume, a large modulation and carrying capacity are characteristics of improved sound quality. The instrument's own sound is expressed effortlessly and tonal one-sidedness can be balanced out.
The bow develops a very good and consistent response, background noise is minimized. Humidity and temperature fluctuations are less significant, and dust formation is very low.
