The Old Mommy 18 MM, an OM, is based on the original blueprints of an instrument from 1929. Original Pre War instruments now fetch 5-digit prices and are difficult to find in good condition.
For the Old Mommy 18 MM we used solid African mahogany for the top. The sound is direct, with pronounced mids and less sustain. This instrument is particularly recommended for use in the studio.
