Concert-hall scale for your living room: power, expression and elegance

The Kawai K-600 AS in polished ebony brings a concert-class piano into your home. Its solid spruce soundboard, spanning 1.53 m², plays in a league usually reserved for baby grand pianos – ideal for demanding amateur pianists, and equally at home as a recital instrument in conservatories and music schools.

Millennium III action for precise, durable playing

At the heart of the K-600 is the Millennium III action: carbon fibres integrated into the ABS material deliver exceptional stability and virtually loss-free force transmission. The NEOTEX key surface recreates the pleasant grip of ivory and ebony, while the mahogany hammer core with underfelt produces a round, carrying tone.

A generous soundbox, thoughtful details

12 ribs hold the tapered soundboard's curvature precisely in shape, while the 6 back posts and the double duplex scale deliver an overtone-rich, singing tone right up into the highest register. Agraffes from key 1 to 51 and the Tone Spreader above and below the keybed round off a carefully engineered sound concept.

Genuine sostenuto pedal, just like a grand piano

The AS variant of the K-600 features a genuine middle sostenuto pedal – a feature usually found only on grand pianos. It lets you sustain selected notes while the rest of the keyboard remains free: an expressive gain for demanding repertoire.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Grand-piano-like volume: 1.53 m² soundboard for a powerful, carrying tone.
• Precise playability: Millennium III action in carbon-reinforced ABS for near loss-free force transmission.
• Genuine sostenuto: middle pedal just like a grand piano, for expanded tonal expression.
• Durable touch: NEOTEX key surface with a pleasant, non-slip grip.
• Thoughtful details: double castors, slow-close key cover and lock for everyday use.
