Description
V12 reeds are made from the same diameter tubing as used for alto saxophone reeds. Compared to the traditional reed, the V12 differs in that it has a thicker shaft, modified stitching and a stronger back of the reed. This increases the vibration range. The result is a sonorous, rich tone. The thicker tip allows for a percussive response and extends the life of the reed.
