The heart of the YFL-312GL is its sterling silver (.925) headjoint. The denser precious metal lends the tone more warmth, fullness and projection than the nickel silver of the entry-level series. The polyconical CY cut provides an especially easy response across all registers and a rich tone colour. The gold-plated lip plate – the „GL“ in the model name – also flatters the lip and adds a refined touch.

Thoughtful mechanism for confident playing

Body, footjoint and keys are made of robust, fully silver-plated nickel silver. The closed keys and the offset G make for a relaxed, ergonomic hand position – ideal while technique is still being consolidated. The Split-E mechanism lets the high E speak cleanly and reliably, and the pointed key arms make the keys sturdier and more even in how they close.
